Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Solution Engineer / Architect with 10–15 years of IT experience, including 6–10 years in the Salesforce ecosystem. This role bridges business requirements and technical execution, focusing on designing scalable, efficient, and business-aligned Salesforce solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional and technical expertise, the ability to translate complex business needs into solution designs, and hands-on experience delivering Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable solution designs.
  • Create solution architecture artifacts such as HLDs, LLDs, and solution diagrams.
  • Define system interactions, dependencies, and data flows across platforms.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and Salesforce best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage out-of-the-box capabilities over custom development.
  • Design reusable components and frameworks for faster implementation.
  • Evaluate and recommend AppExchange products and third-party tools.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce platform limits and licensing constraints.
  • Collaborate with technical architects for alignment on enterprise-wide solutions.

Business & Functional Engagement

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Conduct discovery workshops and solutioning sessions.
  • Translate functional requirements into user stories and technical specifications.
  • Provide functional expertise in Salesforce features and capabilities.
  • Recommend best-fit solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams.
  • Support product owners in backlog prioritization and refinement.
  • Drive requirement clarity and ensure minimal ambiguity.
  • Provide demos and walkthroughs of proposed solutions.
  • Ensure alignment between business processes and system design.

Salesforce Platform Expertise

  • Configure Salesforce using Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, and Custom Objects.
  • Design data models, object relationships, and schema structures.
  • Define security models including roles, profiles, and sharing rules.
  • Leverage Lightning Experience and LWC capabilities for UI enhancements.
  • Utilize standard Salesforce features to reduce technical debt.
  • Support development teams with technical design guidance.
  • Ensure optimal use of declarative vs programmatic solutions.
  • Implement best practices for scalability and maintainability.
  • Monitor platform performance and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and new features.

Integration & Data Management

  • Design integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Define data migration and data synchronization strategies.
  • Collaborate with integration teams for middleware-based solutions.
  • Ensure data consistency across systems.
  • Define data validation and data quality rules.
  • Support ETL processes and large data volume handling.
  • Design secure data exchange mechanisms using OAuth and APIs.
  • Handle real-time and batch integration requirements.
  • Define data governance and ownership models.
  • Troubleshoot integration and data-related issues.

Delivery & Project Support

  • Support end-to-end project delivery from design to deployment.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Assist in effort estimation and solution planning.
  • Work closely with developers, QA, and admins for execution.
  • Validate delivered solutions against requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks during implementation.
  • Provide production support and issue resolution.
  • Maintain documentation for solutions and processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Salesforce Expertise

  • 6–10 years of experience in Salesforce implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Experience in Salesforce configuration and customization.
  • Understanding of Apex, LWC, and integration concepts.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security and data models.
  • Experience with Salesforce releases and feature adoption.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and deployment processes.
  • Experience with AppExchange solutions.
  • Ability to design scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Certifications

  • Salesforce Administrator certification.
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification.
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I.
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant certification.
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification.
