Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and technical dependencies
• Design and develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and integration with external systems
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peer developers and team members
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that development standards and best practices are being followed
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all Salesforce customizations
• Work with Salesforce administrators to ensure that the platform is configured to meet the needs of the business
• Identify and troubleshoot complex Salesforce issues, providing technical solutions and workarounds as needed
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and share this knowledge with the team

Experience and Expectations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development
• Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and Salesforce integration patterns
• Experience with Salesforce APIs and third-party integrations
• Ability to design and develop complex solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Salesforce Platform Developer or Architect certifications are a plus
